This week for the creation of CCR's I really focused on preparing them and what app I will create them on and what CCR will go onto which app. After looking over each CCR I decided which one would be fit for each creation and app. In the end I decided to do CCR 1 with an interview on Adobe Premiere Pro, CCR 2 as a podcast on Adobe Audition, CCR 3 as a voiceover of a presentation on Sway (edited on Adobe Audition), and finally CCR 4 as a vlog video on YouTube (edited on Adobe Premiere Pro).
CCR #1:
For CCR #1 I went over to my sister-in-law's house to get her help to Interview me. Which we were able to successfully record a video with the CCR questions, and I was able to answer them. I then imported this interview into adobe and started trimming certain parts, because the video was around 10 minutes. I was able to trim it to 7 minutes, then adjust the sound throughout the interview, checking the levels of the video. After the sound was all correct, I added some background music and had the beginning and end of the Interview have the music fade in/ fade out. I also added a few transitions to different parts of the interview that had clips removed due to bloopers, so the scenes would blend better together. Lastly after all of this, I added a text to the beginning, giving the interview a title and to help explain what the interview would be like/ about.
CCR #2:
On this CCR I wanted to do a podcast then edit it on pod castle; however, I have heard a lot of bad things about people losing their recordings on pod castle. So, I decided to edit this CCR on Adobe Audition. I recorded the podcast with my sister-in-law just like CCR 1. We talked about the questions before hand then recorded on voice memos so I could easily get it onto my flash drive. When we were creating this podcast, we wanted to engage a sense of humor into this to make it more intriguing to listen to, so we made some jokes and decided on a funny name for the podcast. When I got the podcast on my flash drive, I uploaded it into Adobe Audition, and began trimming unnecessary footage, or bloopers throughout the recording. After that, I added a sound effect of crickets chirping after a few out-of-pocket things the interviewer said. This gives the podcast more of a humorous tone, then at the end of the audio I added a girl screaming in fear, similar to other horror movies, to show my film was a horror movie, and to incorporate that aspect. After the scream I also added an audience of people clapping to initiate the podcast was over and again, give it a more humorous tone. After sound effects I added an instrumental song to the beginning of the podcast for an intro song, then also added a slight background instrumental song to add in another element of sound, so it's not just me talking the entire time, also making the listeners more engaged.
CCR #3:
For this CCR I did a presentation on sway with a voiceover attached. I began by creating the presentation and tried expanding on the question and answered other questions as I went along. I explained how Olivia and I formed this 2-minute film opening from start to finish, and since I was the main editor, I really dove into the editing portion on Adobe Premiere Pro and even included my own pictures of how I got to what I was describing. I then recorded a voice memo on my phone of the voice over going into even more detail and expanded more than what the presentation explained. I edited this voiceover on Adobe Audition, just mainly cutting out unnecessary parts of what I was saying, because I tend to ramble on a lot... After I finished trimming it, I clicked on the new slide and added a media content slide so I could upload in my voiceover!
CCR #4:
In CCR 4 I decided I wanted to create a sort of fun vlog on YouTube showing what it's like to develop a short film opening, while also answering the CCR question. I did this by downloading a screen recording software on my computer, which then I was able to record my screen on my Final Project on Adobe Premiere pro, while also having my face in the bottom left corner. After recording, I had to share it to my email then save the video from there to import into Adobe. Once it was in Adobe, I again did some trimming, then added sound throughout the Vlog to add background music and put in an intro song. I then added text in the beginning saying, "Welcome Back to Haylee Boyers Channel" as a welcome and "Thanks for Watching" as an outro. However, when I saw editing, I realized that towards the end of the clog my mouth movements were not matching up with what I was saying, which I was unable to fix most likely because it is a glitch with the screen recording software. I also observed that when I played the film on Adobe, the audio was not applicable, but I posted my final project on YouTube anyways, so it is quite simple to trace what I was showing on the actual project!
